Short answer: to plan a birthday or a proposal on a private yacht in Sharm El Sheikh, book early, tell your concierge about the occasion in the request, and agree every extra in writing before the day: cake, decorations, music, a photographer and the timing of the big moment. A sunset trip suits both well.
Choose the right trip
- Proposal or anniversary for two: a sunset cruise gives you golden light and a quiet moment on deck.
- Birthday with family or friends: a half day or a full day leaves time to swim, eat and celebrate.
- Bigger party: tell us the exact number of guests. The operator confirms the yacht’s licensed capacity, and the right boat depends on it.

Planning checklist
- Book early. Sunset slots and holiday dates can fill early, and extras need time to arrange.
- Say what the occasion is. Write it in the notes of your request, with names and any surprise you are planning.
- Agree the extras in writing. Cake, flowers, decorations, music and a photographer are not on every boat. Your quote lists what is included and what each extra costs.
- Set the timing. Agree with the crew when the cake comes out or when you want the deck to yourselves.
- Keep the surprise safe. If it is a surprise, ask your concierge to send messages only to you.
- Have a weather plan. If the weather or an official ban stops the trip, you get a full refund or a free new date.
Proposal tips
- Keep the ring in a closed box or a zipped pocket. A deck at sea is not the place to drop it.
- Choose the moment while the boat is stopped, not while it is moving.
- Ask the crew to stay out of sight for a few minutes if you want privacy.
- A photographer can hide on board if you agree it in advance.
Keep the sea clean
Leave balloons, confetti and sky lanterns at home. The wind carries them into the sea, and much of the coast around Sharm El Sheikh is protected. Flowers and decorations that stay on board are a better choice. Read the reef rules.
Booking and paying
Send a request with your date, the number of guests and the occasion. A concierge replies within 2 hours, 9:00 to 22:00 Cairo time, and tells you which yachts fit the occasion. To book, your concierge sends a secure payment link for the 25% deposit; the rest is paid to the operator before boarding. We never ask you to pay into a personal account.
