Part 1: About cookies and this notice

1. About this notice

This notice explains how LuxuryYacht.Tours, a company in the process of registration in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai (“we“, “us“), uses cookies and similar technologies on luxuryyacht.tours, its private booking pages, and the operator and partner portals, including their app versions. The registered company name and commercial register number will be added as soon as they are issued.

It should be read together with our Privacy Notice, which explains how we use personal data, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

• Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and reads again on later visits or pages.
• Local storage and session storage keep small pieces of data in your browser. Session storage is deleted when you close the tab.
• Service workers are small scripts a site can install in your browser so that it works like an app, for example to show notifications.
• Push subscriptions let a site send notifications to your device through your browser’s push service, after you give permission.
• Pixels are tiny images in web pages or emails that report when they are opened. We do not use them.

In this notice we call all of these “cookies” unless we need to tell them apart. First-party cookies are set by our site; third-party cookies are set by another business. A session cookie is deleted when you close the browser; a persistent cookie stays until it expires or you delete it.

4. The cookies and storage we use

The table lists every cookie and similar technology our site sets. Names in square brackets, such as [code] or [ID], stand for a code or account number that changes from site to site or user to user. Most items appear only on the pages that need them: sign-in cookies only for operators, partners and our team, and payment cookies only on the payment pages.

Our site’s fonts are served from our own server, so viewing the site does not send your data to a font provider. Our forms do not set cookies of their own. When you open our request form, the page reads the campaign tags or partner code in its own address and the website that referred you, and puts a short “how you found us” line into the form. This uses no cookie or browser storage, and the line reaches us only if you send the request. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use it.

5. What we do not use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no social media pixels or plug-ins that track you.
• No analytics cookies or similar storage, no third-party analytics tools, session recording, heat maps or device fingerprinting.
• No tracking pixels in our emails.
• No selling or sharing of cookie data for advertising.

If we ever want to add a cookie of a new type, we will first update this notice and the table, and ask for your consent before it is set where the law requires.

6. Other websites and services

Some links take you to other businesses’ websites or apps, which may set their own cookies under their own notices:

• Payment pages. When you pay a Deposit, the payment provider’s page may set cookies for security and fraud prevention.
• WhatsApp. Our WhatsApp buttons are plain links. Nothing from WhatsApp or Meta loads on our pages until you tap one; then you leave our site.
• Google Calendar. If you use the Google option of “Add to calendar” on your booking page, you go to Google’s site.

We do not control these cookies. Please read the cookie and privacy notices of those businesses.

Part 3: Your choices

7. How consent works

• Strictly necessary cookies are set without asking, because the site or the service you ask for cannot work without them.
• Functional cookies are set only when you use the feature, for example when you choose a currency.
• No analytics or advertising. We use no cookies or similar storage that need your consent, so we do not show a cookie banner.
• Portal notifications start only after you press the button to switch them on in the portal and allow notifications when your browser asks.
• If we ever add a cookie that needs consent, we will ask for it first through a banner that makes refusing as easy as accepting, and add a link to change your choice at any time.

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser (section 8), and switch off portal notifications whenever you like.

8. How to control cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site settings. You can also use a private window, which deletes cookies when you close it.

• In Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, open the settings, find “Cookies and site data” or “Privacy”, and choose what to allow or delete.
• To remove the portal app and its service worker, uninstall the app from your device, or clear the site data for luxuryyacht.tours in your browser.
• To stop notifications, use the “Turn off” button in the portal, or change the notification permission for luxuryyacht.tours in your browser or phone settings.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as portal sign-in or the Deposit payment, may not work. You can always send your request by email to hello@luxuryyacht.tours or on WhatsApp +20 106 099 0121 instead.

Browser privacy signals. Because we do not track you across sites, “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not change anything today: there is nothing to switch off. If we ever add analytics, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a refusal.

9. Portal app and push notifications

The operator portal and the partner portal can be added to a phone or computer as an app. This applies only to operators and partners with an account, never to guests browsing the site.

• Service worker. When you open a portal, your browser installs our service worker. It handles the notifications you switched on and shows a short message if you lose your connection. It does not store copies of pages, so booking data is not kept on your device by it.
• Notifications. If you switch them on, your browser creates a push subscription with its push service (Google for Chrome and Android, Mozilla for Firefox, Apple for Safari, or Microsoft for Edge). We store on our server, linked to your account, the subscription address and keys, a short description of the browser and device, and the date, for up to 10 devices. Notifications are encrypted between our server and your device.
• What notifications say. A new request, a booking that changes, or a reminder, with the booking reference and short details. Avoid showing notifications on a locked screen if others can see your device.
• Turning them off. Use the “Turn off” button in the portal, change the notification setting for luxuryyacht.tours, or remove the app. Subscriptions that stop working are deleted from our server automatically.

Part 4: Other information

10. Changes to this notice

We update this notice and its table whenever we add, remove or change a cookie, and when the law changes. The version and effective date at the top show which version applies. If a change means a cookie needs your consent, we ask for it before that cookie is set.

11. Language

This notice is made in English and Arabic. Both versions are equally valid. If they differ, the Arabic version prevails. This does not take away any right that the law of your country gives you.
