Short answer: bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, a hat, a light warm layer, any medicine you need, and cash or a card for the balance if it is due on the day. Ask your concierge before the trip what is already on board, such as snorkelling gear, towels, food and drinks, and whether the operator needs passport details for the port.
Packing list
- Swimwear, and a rash guard if you plan to snorkel
- Towel, unless the boat provides them
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
- A light jacket or sweater for the ride back, especially in winter
- Water shoes or sandals that do not slip on a wet deck
- Any medicine you need, including for sea sickness
- Phone in a waterproof pouch
- Your booking reference and the operator’s name, both on your quote
- Payment for the balance, in the way your quote says
Ask before the trip
- What is included? Snorkelling gear, life jackets in children’s sizes, towels, food, drinks and park fees differ from boat to boat. Your quote lists them.
- Port documents. The operator may ask for passport details for the port permit. Your concierge tells you exactly what is needed and when.
- Meeting point and time. Your quote says where the boat leaves from and when to arrive.
- Extras. A cake, decorations or a photographer for a celebration must be arranged in advance.
Paying the balance
With LuxuryYacht.Tours your concierge sends a secure payment link for the 25% deposit when you book, and the 75% balance is paid to the operator before boarding. We never ask you to pay into a personal account. See how it works.
Leave at the hotel
- Valuables you do not need on the day
- Glass bottles, which break easily on a moving boat
