White Island by private yacht

What to expect
The bank is sand and shallow water, not a coral reef. Nothing is built on it, so bring a hat, water and sun protection. The coral and fish are on the Ras Mohammed reefs nearby, which is why a White Island stop is usually part of a Ras Mohammed day.
Timing with the tide
The bank is most exposed around low tide, and the time of low tide moves every day. A shared day boat keeps to its timetable; a private yacht can plan the stop around the tide on your date.
Your day, step by step
- You send a request with your date and your group. White Island is already filled in.
- A concierge replies within 2 hours, 9:00 to 22:00 Cairo time, and sends a written quote with the yacht, the operator, the harbour, the times and what is included.
- You accept the quote and pay the 25% deposit through a secure payment link from your concierge. The operator confirms in writing.
- On the day, the yacht sails south-west into the park, with reef stops on the way and White Island timed with the tide.
- You sail back at the time on your quote. The 75% balance goes to the operator before boarding.
What is included
We list a yacht only after we have seen its licence and insurance and reviewed it with its operator on a video call. Life jackets in children’s sizes, snorkelling gear, food and drinks, towels, the park fee and a hotel transfer depend on the yacht, and your quote lists each one before you pay.
