We are a booking agent, not the operator. That is why we review every yacht with its operator, and put every detail in writing before you pay.
The checklist
Before a yacht goes live, we review it with its operator on a live video call. For Verified yachts and above, our team checks every item below.
- Tourism and marine licences
- Passenger insurance
- Licensed guest capacity
- Life jackets for every guest, including children’s sizes
- First aid kit and trained crew
- Photos taken by the operator and matched to the yacht on that call
- Prices confirmed in writing before the yacht is quoted
Ongoing checks
We re-check documents before they expire and review every trip. A yacht that falls short is paused until it is fixed.
A Verified yacht’s page shows when its licence and insurance were last checked.

How reviews work
We are new, so most yachts have no reviews yet. We would rather show none than show reviews we cannot stand behind.
What we look at before a review appears
- It comes from a guest whose trip with us is completed
- One review per booking
- It is about the trip: the yacht, the crew, the route or our service
- Good and bad reviews appear alike. We remove only personal details and abusive language
- We never pay for reviews or offer anything in return
Weather
Sailing decisions belong to the port authority and the captain. If they stop sailing, you choose a new date or a full refund.
Your money
To accept your quote, your concierge sends a secure payment link for the 25% deposit to LuxuryYacht.Tours, and we issue your receipt. Your booking is confirmed when the operator confirms in writing, usually within 4 hours. You pay the 75% balance to the operator before boarding. We never ask you to pay into a personal account.
Honest limits
We are not the operator, so we cannot steer the boat. If anything is not as promised, tell your concierge right away and we take it up with the operator for you. On the day of your trip our number is answered from 7:00 Cairo time until you are back ashore.
