1. About this summary
This page summarises how yacht operators (“you”) work with LuxuryYacht.Tours, a company in the process of registration in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai (“LuxuryYacht.Tours”, “we”, “us”).
The registered company name and the commercial register number will be added here as soon as they are issued. They will also be printed on every receipt.
The full terms are in the Operator Agreement (version 2.1), in English and Arabic. Each operator accepts it electronically when applying or in the operator portal, and receives a copy of the exact text by email. If this summary and the Operator Agreement differ, the Operator Agreement applies.
2. Our role and yours
We are a booking agent. We market your yacht, handle requests, send quotes, take the guest’s deposit and look after the booking. You are the operator and the seller of the trip. You are responsible for the trip itself, the vessel, the crew and safety.
3. Who can apply
You must hold, and keep valid for as long as you work with us:
- the tourism licences required in Egypt, including under Law No. 38 of 1977 on tourism companies where it applies to you;
- valid marine licences for each yacht and its captain;
- passenger insurance;
- all safety equipment required by the vessel’s licence, including a life jacket for every guest, with children’s sizes.
Before we list a yacht, we review it with you on a video call. You send us a copy of its boat tourism licence and passenger insurance within 3 business days of our request. Before your first payout, you send your commercial register. You keep all the documents above valid and tell us at once if any of them expires, is suspended or changes. We may pause a listing until we receive valid documents.
4. Listings and accuracy
You confirm the details we publish for each yacht, including its licensed capacity and what is included. You tell us at once about any change. We never offer a yacht for more guests than its licensed capacity.
5. Response times
- Same-day or next-day requests: within 1 hour.
- Day trips: within 4 hours.
- Overnight or custom trips: within 24 hours.
After the guest pays the deposit, you confirm or decline the booking in writing, usually within 4 hours.
6. Price
The price on the guest’s quote comes from the price you confirm to us in writing. Once a booking is confirmed, you must not change the price or ask the guest for more money for the same trip.
7. Money and settlement
- The guest pays a 25% deposit to LuxuryYacht.Tours.
- Our commission is 20% of the retail price, or 15% for exclusive suppliers. We take it from the deposit.
- We pass the rest of the deposit to you in a weekly settlement, 7 days after each completed trip. At the standard 20% commission, this is 5% of the retail price.
- You collect the 75% balance directly from the guest before boarding, in cash or by card as stated on the quote, and you give the guest a receipt.
8. Invoices and tax
We issue you an electronic invoice for our commission plus 14% VAT. You invoice the guest for the trip. Each party is responsible for its own taxes.
9. Cancellations
Guest cancellations follow our booking terms. If weather or an official sailing ban stops a trip, the guest chooses a new date or a full refund.
If you cancel a confirmed booking, or cannot confirm after a deposit, the guest receives a full refund, and a fee applies to you as set out in clause 16 of the Operator Agreement. We may offer the guest an equivalent yacht if the guest agrees.
10. Guests introduced by us
For 12 months after we introduce a guest to you, you must not contact that guest to book outside our platform, or accept a booking from that guest that goes around us.
11. Safety and conduct
- Your captain has the final word on safety and may refuse to sail in unsafe conditions.
- You never take more guests than the licensed capacity.
- You follow park rules in Ras Mohammed National Park, Tiran and other protected areas.
- You tell us at once about any accident, incident or complaint on a trip we booked.
12. Reviews
Only guests who sailed can review a trip. We moderate reviews. You may reply to a review, and you may ask us to check a review you believe is false.
13. Guest data
You use guest data we share only to run the booked trip and to meet your legal obligations. You keep it safe and follow Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
14. Law
The Operator Agreement is governed by Egyptian law. Disputes go to the competent courts of South Sinai, in Sharm El Sheikh.
